I was born in 1978 in Bansoa, in the highlands of West Cameroon, into a modest family where you learn early the value of work, respect and solidarity. I went to primary school in Yaoundé, then to secondary school in Ngaoundéré, Dschang and Yaoundé.
In 1998, I passed the scientific baccalaureate (series C) with highest honours. That same year, I passed the entrance exams of the National Advanced School of Engineering in Yaoundé and of the Cameroon Air Force. I chose engineering. In 2003, I graduated as a design engineer in computer science, with honours.
Since then, I have built companies and led projects in banking, insurance, telecommunications, agribusiness and public administration: IT audits and master plans, ERP systems, web and mobile applications, RFID inventories, and securing vehicle inspection documents for the Ministry of Transport. Cameroon's National Agency for ICT and security services consult me on cybersecurity and cybercrime.
"My dream has not changed since childhood: to see a technology park rise in Africa, where people train, research and create in artificial intelligence, data, biotechnology and neuroscience."
That dream led me to write. In Les Bâtisseurs de réseau (The Network Builders), I share what I have learned about influence and the power of human networks. In Les Bâtisseurs d'Intelligences (The Builders of Intelligences), I propose eight major projects so that Africa can finally take its place in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. I live in Douala, I am married and a father of three. I play basketball, walk, swim, and never turn down a game of Scrabble.
